STUDENT DEVELOPMENT CENTRE
The Student Development Centre acts as the nerve centre where all student activities and programmes are coordinated. The approach adopted by the centre is holistic - it focusses on students’ mental, physical and spiritual aspects. The centre executes its role through associate units as follow:
- Student Administration, Training and Activity Unit
- Student Management & System Management Unit
Functions and Services
- Manages administrative matters at the Student Development Centre and coordinates all non-academic student bodies affiliated with the Student Affairs Department.
- Responsible in training and guiding students through various training courses for personality, talent and leadership developments as well as inculcating noble values and nationhood awareness among students.
- Undertakes the coordinating, supervising and providing guidance on application and programme implementation processes as well as coordinating main events of the Student Affairs Department such as Orientation Week, Convocation Fair and other programmes.

MINGGU SUAI KENAL (MSK) UUM
WHAT IS MINGGU SUAI KENAL (MSK) UUM? " Minggu Suai Kenal (MSK) UUM or UUM Orientation Week is an annual program to welcome and prepare new students who have successfully found a place for learning. Students who have just entered the world of this university will definitely experience an experience and a change to a new environment. UUM Orientation Week aims to provide a little exposure on life on campus including the environment, study methods, culture and aspects of character building. In addition, preparation avoids students from getting caught up in culture shocks. Students are also introduced to the university’s top management, rules and ethics as a student as well as the facilities provided on campus for use or utilization. "
HOPE DAY
WHAT IS HOPE DAY UUM? " Hari Organisasi Badan Pelajar or HOPE Day is one of the programs that allows university students to participate in co-curricular activities. HOPE Day was normally held over two days at the Sultanah Bahiyah Library Foyer. There are over 100 clubs under the guidance of the Training and Leadership Unit will open a booth throughout the HOPE Day run. Students can choose to join a club or organisation that interests them. This is an opportunity for students to follow all of the activities that will take place later. "
PILIHANRAYA KAMPUS (PRK)
WHAT IS PILIHANRAYA KAMPUS (PRK)? " Pilihanraya Kampus UUM or UUM Campus Election began as a political education. It continues to remain with that purpose to this day. The aim is to provide experience and knowledge related to politics, democracy and the process of individual engagement through the practice of voting. Through this event, students will get to know what are candidates, proposers, supporters, ballot papers, campaigns, nomination deposit money, protests, vote counting and so on. "
UUM CONVOCATION FAIR
WHAT IS UUM CONVOCATION FAIR ? " Pesta Konvokesyen UUM or UUM Convocation Fair is a series of events held each year to honor students who have completed their studies. The organization of the UUM Convocation Fair realized continuity of collaboration with various leading corporate organizations across the country. The cooperation entered into in terms of information, material, and financial sharing is to enable the UUM Convocation Fair to be carried out in a lively and successful manner. Apart from that, UUM Convocation Fair also succeeded in elevating the name and image of the university in the eyes of the local community as a university capable of producing innovative, dedicated, skilled, visionary and leadership intellectuals. The UUM Convocation Fair allows external organizations to promote their products to university residents and the surrounding community, as well as conduct business transactions that benefit both parties through collaborative programs. Furthermore, the festival can foster an entrepreneurial spirit and a creative mindset in UUM students by innovating something. "
